Barclaycard OnePulse

barclaycard

The three-in-one card for Londoners was launched at Canary Wharf on September 10th 2007. TranSys is the central partner in this project, which brings TfL and Barclaycard together to offer an innovative new product to consumers.

Customers have grown to expect innovation, convenience and straightforward benefits from Oyster. Since its launch in 2003, the Oyster card has delivered speed, convenience and easier travel around London's busy network, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It was therefore a logical step to look for a partner who could build on this strong platform by providing extra services to customers on the move.

The result is Barclaycard OnePulse which brings Oyster, a credit card and a new form of low-value cashless payment, Paywave, onto one card.

Shashi Verma, Director of fares and ticketing for TfL, says " This innovative partnership with Barclaycard is another way that Oyster technology can make life more convenient for Londoners, providing them with not only cheaper, easier and more convenient travel but also the ability to make low cost transactions on everyday items."

The partnership with Barclaycard is the first major licensing venture for TranSys, with the full support of TfL. For more information on the card, you should visit www.barclaycardonepulse.com
